Instagram Chrome Extension

One of the best Instagram extensions made for Chrome is “Instagram for Chrome”.

I have tested different extensions and platforms for a few months now trying to find an easy way to keep up on my Instagram with my computer feed while I spend time on my computer.

Instagram for Chrome created by 64px.com has been my favorite by far.

  • You can go to the Chrome Web Store and type into the search “Instagram for Chrome” .

  • You will need to sign into your Google account install the extension.
  • Click the blue “Add to Chrome” button.

  • Then you will need to click “Add” again when the conformation box comes up.
  • Once the Extension has loaded, a small Instagram button will appear to the right of Chromes address bar.

You will have to click on the Instagram logo and it will ask you to log in to your Insagram account.

NOTE: To check you notifications under “…” then “News” you will need to log in with your Instagram information again before it can retrieve your info.

Have Fun!

Color encyclopedia : Information and conversion.

ColorHexa.com is a free color tool providing information about any color. Just type any color values (view full list here) in the search field and ColorHexa will offer a detailed description and automatically convert it to its equivalent value in Hexadecimal, Binary, RGB, CMYK, HSL, HSV, CIE-Lab, Hunter-Lab, CIE-Luv, CIE-LCH, XYZ and xyY. ColorHexa will also generate matching color schemes such as complementary, split complementary, analogous, triadic, tetradic and monochromatic colors.

One thing that I really like about this site is that what ever color you search there is an “in action” section that gives you snippets of code for HTML and CSS For uses of the color you searched.

Tumblr and Pinterest

Recently there have been Two social medias that I have been really involved in investigating them and learning as much as I can about them.

1.

My Tumblr blog

I really like how engaged other tumblrs get into rebloging and sharing all the great stuff that is on tumblr.

You can find some great niches on Tumblr of other people who tumble the  same kind of stuff that you tumble. When you Post a really cute kitty picture, more times then not, the people who reblog your photo also like really cute kitty pictures, and so on and so forth.

2.

My Pinterest Profile

The idea of Pinterest “sharing photos” is not a new idea, but the way you are able to share the photos, is what I think makes Pinterest so great.

Pinterest cuts out the big popularity contest on social medias  so you don’t have to be a well known  person/brand or a social media expert, to have your content seen. Pinterest is made so the photos you share can be seen and shared.
